Zelda Road Death – On January 7, 2025, a significant police presence was reported in the 2600 block of Zelda Road in Montgomery, Alabama, following a fatal shooting.
Authorities responded to a call around 12:30 p.m. and discovered 24-year-old Montgomery resident Rodriquez Harris Jr. with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred at a Chevron gas station near Krystal and across from McDonald’s. During the investigation, traffic was blocked at Gatsby Drive toward Ann Street, but the road has since reopened.
The Montgomery Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation and has urged anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP, Secret Witness at 625-4000, or MPD at 625-2831.
