Zach Tawwater OKC Drowning Accident: 18-year-old Zach Tawwater, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma has been identified as the victim who died in a drowning accident at the Grand Lake in Mayes County, Oklahoma this weekend.
Police Investigate Drowning Accident at Grand Lake Waters
Grand River Dam Authority and the police were dispatched to the Grand Lake for a drowning report. According to law enforcement, Zach Tawwater passed away after jumping into the lake from the roof of a dock in the Locust Cove area of Grand Lake.
According to the investigators, Zach’s body was recovered at approximately 7:45 p.m. and was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office in Tulsa. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another Death At The Lake
The body of Levi Gibson, 39, of Afton, was discovered near Patricia Island on Friday. According to GRDA police, Gibson drowned after rushing into the lake on Thursday from a boat to help a child who had fallen off a towed water device.
Obituary and Funeral Arrangements will be Released by the Family
On Thursday, the second drowning occurred near the Flint Creek Waterpark, located west of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Authorities found the body of a 26-year-old guy from Mexico.
His name has not been released. On Thursday, a third water-related event happened along the Illinois River at the Edmondson Access Area. According to GRDA police, a person was underwater for a few minutes before being rescued and helped by witnesses.
