Zach Shumate Death – Fairbury High School Alumnus Zach Shumate of Beatrice, Nebraska has sadly passed away. He died on Tuesday 20th February 2024 at the age of 35. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads “This is so hard always tell your loved ones how much you love them you may not be able to do so cherish every moment and always keep them close to you or you may not get a chance to say goodbye or how much they mean to you rip Zach Shumate I will always miss you buddy”. The cause of death has been learned at this time.
Zach Shumate, a native of San Antonio, Texas, was brought into the world on November 21, 1988, to proud parents Jeffrey and Jenny (Palo) Shumate. His upbringing laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication and achievement. Completing his foundational education at Fairbury High School in 2007, Zach exhibited promise and determination from an early age. Following his high school graduation, he embarked on a path of higher education, eventually earning an associate’s degree from Southeast Community College.
Zach’s professional endeavors led him to the Beatrice Police Department, where he served diligently as a dispatcher. At the time of his passing, he resided in Manhattan, Kansas, alongside his fiancée, Abbie Busing, and her children, Jolsten, Obie, and Everlee. The couple was eagerly anticipating the arrival of their own child in May of the current year, signifying a new chapter of joy and responsibility.
Beyond his professional commitments, Zach was deeply passionate about physical fitness. A fervent bodybuilding enthusiast and skilled fitness trainer, he inspired others with his dedication to health and wellness. Zach Shumate’s legacy extends far beyond his professional and personal accomplishments. He will be remembered fondly for his unwavering dedication, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine compassion for others. Zach is survived by his fiancée, Abbie Busing of Manhattan, Kansas; children, Tayvin, Evan and Sophia; mother, Jenny Palo of Gilead; sister, Melissa Collins and husband Casey of Beatrice; grandparents, Dr. Matti and Mary Palo of Enterprise, Alabama; nephews, Grady Eggert, Tucker Eggert; niece, Lorelai Eggert; and other various family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Shumate; and grandparents, Daniel and Margaret Shumate.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Pastor David Bigley officiating. A register book will be available from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice.
