Yeraldin Pardo Accident Death: A mother and her son have been identified as victims in the deadly train crash at Lake Accotink Park in Springfield, VA on Wednesday.
According to reports, Yeraldin Pardo and her son Eli Medrano were walking on the train tracks around 8:20 P.M. last night when they were struck and killed by an oncoming train. A third victim identified also as a minor was not identified by the department.

Yeraldin Pardo and her son Eli Medrano were killed in a train accident on Wednesday 5 June 2024. Law enforcement agencies were called to Accotink Park Road around 8:20 p.m., for accident reports.
According to Norfolk Southern Railway, a train traveling northbound on the bridge struck an adult and two minors. The tree victims fell off the bridge and landed by Lake Accotink Park. Officials confirmed they passed away at the scene of the incident.

Yeraldin Pardo was a Program Analyst at VT Group Defense. She was an amazing mother and a dedicated partner. She was a Colombia descendant. Yeraldin Pardo was a graduate of George Mason University and Annandale High School. She was a longtime resident of Alexandria, Virginia.

But even more than his accomplishments on the field, we will remember Eli for who he was off the field. Eli had a larger-than-life personality with a terrific sense of humor and a smile that could light up the room. He was truly a light in this world and we will all miss him both on and off the field.
