Yano Jones Papillion NE Death – The residents of Papillion, Nebraska, are mourning the unexpected death of Yano Jones. Jones was the assistant principal of Papio South and a valued member of the Papillion community. Jones went to the FBU (National Football Combine). Jones was a father and a role model to many in Papillion.
Who Was Yano Jones?
Yano Jones was a resident of Papillion, NE, and the assistant principal of Papio South. Jones was a great father who had played the sport of football, which he loved at multiple levels after high school, passed it down many traits and expectations, and held the accountability level at an all-time high to teach his son (Yano Jones Jr.).
Jones Jr. was helped in a great way by Jones Sr.’s connections with extra workouts, camps, mowing lawns, and other after-school activities. It’s challenging to keep them all going in a positive direction without guidance and the desire to give everything you can, no matter the activity.

”You always think there is more time. “I’ll reach out tomorrow. He will be in next week. We can talk. I can see him and ask him how he’s doing in person.” Tomorrow never came. I’ll have to live with that. We are in an unfamiliar place as a staff, as a family. Saying goodbye to one of our own.
The Nebraska football world lost one today. But more importantly, a family lost a husband, a father, a brother, an uncle and a son. Yano, you will be missed more than these words can ever express. Thank you for being you! Unapologetically you. On behalf of DREAM + WA, we want to send our love to your little ones and to the rest of your family. Whatever we can do, we will do. However we can help, we will help.” Steve
”Man the news I just got…I was expecting it at all. Grew up together, came into Kappa together…words can’t even describe this feeling. Cherish the moments we have. It’s ok to say I love you. I love you, bro!! You will be missed. Update: I did not mention his name earlier, because I did not want his family to read it first on social media. Yano Jones, grew up in Orchard Park, four blocks from my ahouse. Before I leave this world, Nedu, Mario and now Yano will get statutes/memorials at the park. Legends were made at Orchard. This park, this neighborhood turned boys into great men.” Justin
