Woodruff Park Stabbing Today: Two hurt in Downtown Atlanta, suspect in custody; Police

Woodruff Park Stabbing Today – Two people are hurt after a stabbing at Woodruff Park in Downtown Atlanta on Tuesday morning, according to the police department.

Authorities responded to the park at 20 Auburn Ave NE around 9:20 a.m. When officers arrived, they found two victims: a woman with a stab wound to her body and a man who also had a cut.

APD said the woman was taken to the hospital alert, conscious and breathing, and the man was treated for his injury on scene by medical personnel. Officers were able to take a man into custody in connection with the stabbing, according to APD.

The police department’s aggravated assault unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. This is a developing story.
