Wilmer Hutchins HS Shooting – A significant number of police officers are now present in the vicinity. Dallas Fire-Rescue authorities have reported that many law enforcement agencies are now responding to a shooting incident at Wilmer-Hutchins High School in southeast Dallas on Friday morning.
The incident occurred shortly before 11 a.m., however, there were limited details readily accessible. Wilmer-Hutchins High School, a constituent of the Dallas Independent School District, is situated on Langdon Road close to Interstate 45 and Interstate 20.
Dallas ISD: All students and team members are safe at Wilmer-Hutchins High School as we have initiated our safety protocol. Police are on-site to ensure our school remains secure.
At this time, we ask for everyone to refrain from coming to the campus, as we limit access inside. Parents will receive a letter with more details later.

Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel have verified that their teams are now attending to the incident. The Dallas police files indicated that officers were attending a shooting event close to the school’s location.
Some Dallas Fire-Rescue ambulances and fire vehicles were observed in the school parking lot, while multiple police cars were observed encircling the campus.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel were observed transferring an individual onto an ambulance using a stretcher. However, no official information regarding the nature or severity of the injuries has been disclosed.
