Wayne Edgin Texas Death – Hico Police Department Officer Wayne Edgin has sadly passed away. He died after battling with illness on Friday 26th July 2024 surrounded by his family who will forever miss him.

He was announced dead through a post that said “It is with great sadness that the Hico Police Department announces the passing of Officer Wayne Edgin. Wayne passed away today at 5:29 PM surrounded by his family.”

Through the selfless service he has provided in the field of law enforcement, Wayne Edgin, who is a proud alumni of Gardendale High School, has made an everlasting impression on his community.

In the beginning of his career, Edgin worked as a Deputy Sheriff-K9 Handler for Hudspeth County, where he specialized in the operations of specialist K-9 units. In his work with his K-9 partner, he was responsible for vital tasks such as search and rescue operations, drugs detection, and giving valuable assistance in law enforcement activities.

His dedication to ensuring safety and respecting the law was clear in the job that he did with his K-9 partner. Edgin made the shift to his current position at the Hico Police Department after completing his significant term with the Hudspeth County Police Department Department.
