Tyren Certain Death, 24-year-old died inside vehicle after shooting in Eastwood Meadows Apartments
Tyren Certain Death – This afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Eastwood Meadows Apartments (918 SE 44th Street, Gainesville) following numerous reports from residents concerning gunfire.
Callers also mentioned observing a dark-colored sedan parked near the mailboxes with an individual slouched inside.
According to Alachua County Sheriff’s deputies, Tyren E. Certain, aged 24, was discovered with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at Eastside Meadows.
Immediate life-saving measures were initiated, and the victim was transported by Alachua County Fire Rescue to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Eyewitnesses who alerted authorities to the sound of gunfire observed a dark-colored vehicle, within which Certain was found with gunshot wounds.
The Sheriff’s deputies are currently conducting an ongoing investigation, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
