Tragic Murder-Suicide in Chesterfield County: Man Kills Baby’s Mother and Then Himself, Police Investigate
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Boulder Springs Drive.
At about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024, Police responded to a report of a shooting. On scene, officers located one adult male and an adult female who had been shot.
The adult male was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The initial investigation indicates the shooting was between the two individuals found on scene and no other individuals are involved. The names of the involved parties are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin for the deceased victim.
