Tony Campbell, a highly respected leader in the environmental sector died in a car accident in downtown Kennesaw.

His passing leaves a profound void in the industry and among those who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Tony had an extensive and distinguished career in environmental protection. For 20 years, he served as an Environmental Program Manager with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD), where he was instrumental in shaping policies and initiatives aimed at preserving the state’s natural resources.

His dedication to environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance set a high standard within the industry. In 2016, Tony transitioned to E.R. Snell, where he took on the role of Director of Environmental Affairs.

During his tenure, he played a key role in developing the WECS (Workplace Environmental Compliance & Safety) program, which became a cornerstone for training assistant foremen and supervisors. His leadership helped foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and professional growth within the company.

Beyond his technical expertise, Tony was a mentor and guide to many in the industry. Field operations managers, foremen, and supervisors all benefited from his vast knowledge, patience, and unwavering commitment to their development. He had an innate ability to inspire and uplift those around him, ensuring that the next generation of leaders had the tools and confidence to succeed.

His outstanding contributions earned him a well-deserved promotion in 2021 to Assistant Vice President of Environmental Affairs and Company Officer. Despite his senior position, Tony remained humble, approachable, and deeply invested in the well-being of his colleagues.

Tony’s warm personality and genuine care for others made him beloved by all. His legacy of mentorship, dedication, and kindness will live on in the many lives he touched.
