Tom Parry Cheshire Missing: Man and son, 12, missing after hillwalking in Scottish Highlands

Tom Parry Cheshire Missing – A father and son has gone missing after they went for an hiking trip in the Scottish Highlands. Police are appealing for help in tracing the two hillwalkers who have not returned from a trip to Glencoe.

The two were meant to return to their home in Cheshire on Wednesday, 29 May, 2024 after visiting Glen Nevis and Glencoe.

What Happened To Tom Parry?
Tom Parry, aged 49 and his son Richie went for hillwalking in Glencoe and has not returned. Their car was found in the Three Sisters car park in Glencoe where they stopped on Tuesday, 28 May to go hillwalking and no reports have been given of their whereabouts. Their family urges anyone with information of their whereabouts should please contact the police as they are yet to return home.

Descriptions
Mr Parry is described as around 5ft 10ins in height and of medium build with brown and grey curly hair. Officers said he may be wearing a black and orange jacket. Richie is described as around 5ft tall and of slim build with light-brown hair. He is thought to be wearing a bright orange jacket.

Police Seeks Information From Public
Inspector Craig Johnstone said: “Tom and Richie have not returned home as planned and extensive searches and enquiries are ongoing in the Glencoe area to locate them as soon as possible. “I urge anyone who believes they may have seen or spoken to them to get in touch urgently. “Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference number 0960 of 29th May.”
