Solomon Lonner Lakewood Death, Landlord died after stabbing at Mays Landing home, Tenant Michael Carney charged with murder

Solomon Lonner Lakewood Death – As per the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, a Lakewood man was fatally stabbed on Wednesday at a rental property he possessed in Hamilton, close to Lake Lenape.

According to a statement released by the prosecutor’s office on Thursday, Solomon Lonner, 49, was declared dead at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, where he was brought after Hamilton Township Police Department officers rushed to the Park Road residence at approximately 5:19 p.m.

After receiving numerous 911 calls about a stabbing that was allegedly taking place, authorities discovered Lonner inside the home suffering from multiple knife wounds.

According to the statement, Michael Carney, 39, who shared the house with a number of other tenants, was detained at the scene and then charged with his landlord’s murder as well as several firearms offenses.

The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office is currently conducting an autopsy, and the Hamilton Police Department and the Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit are investigating the crimes.
