Sika Anoa’i Death – According to report WWE Hall of Famer Sika Anoaʻi has died at the age of 79. Born Leati Sika Amituana’i Anoa’i, he was the father of Roman Reigns and late WWE star Rosey
Sika’s nephew, Jahrus, revealed the news on Instagram and issued the following statement:
“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of Former Hall of Famer, Polaivao Leati Sika Anoa’i. He passed away peacefully on June 25th.
Sika was a celebrated figure whose contributions and legacy have left an indelible mark. His memory will live on through his achievements and the many lives he touched.
“He was many things: a hard working father, a caring brother, a supportive uncle, and a proud grandfather. He was a cherished friend to many, a loving family member whose warmth and kindness knew no bounds, and an inspiration to countless individuals. His legacy will continue to inspire and uplift future generations, reminding us of the impact one person’s life can have on so many. Rest in love Uncle Sika.”
Who was Sika Anoa’i?
Leati Sika Amituana’i Anoaʻi (April 5, 1945 – June 25, 2024), better known as Sika Anoaʻi or simply Sika, was an American Samoan professional wrestler. He was best known as one-half of the tag team The Wild Samoans with his brother Afa.
Championships held by Anoaʻi over the course of his career included the WWF World Tag Team Championship. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012. He was a member of the Anoaʻi family and the father of professional wrestlers Rosey and Roman Reigns.
