Shawn Calvey of Cleveland, Ohio has died. His death occurred after several battles against cancer. He was dedicated comrade and patriot. His family is terribly devastated concerning his death.
His community and several others who knew and his contributions to the community has expressed their deep sorrows and pains as they loose one their greats to life-snatching disease.
His funeral arrangements and obituary has not been announced by his family. Questions at this time may not be entertained by the family as this has really devastated them and broken vital fibres in the corridors of their hearts.
IAFF mourns
A fundraiser was made in regards to fund his hospital bills as regarding his battle with cancer. The IAFF made a post on Facebook regarding his declining health status. It was paraphrased thus;
“Recently, it was discovered that our brother, firefighter Shawn Calvey, had advanced stage cancer. Information that neither a young spouse nor father should ever learn. Please think about supporting our brother in his battle right here at home, even while we continue to fight cancer in the fire service at the International Association of Fire Fighters. I would really appreciate any assistance!”
As we come together in remembrance, let us cherish the moments we shared with those who are no longer with us. Their legacy will forever be etched in our hearts, and their impact on our lives will serve as a lasting tribute to the love and joy they brought into the world.
