Sean Fader died in Oswego, IL, car accident on Sept. 13, loved ones mourns

Sean Fader Accident – On Friday, September 13, 2024, at about 8:51 p.m., a single vehicle was engaged in a traffic collision that took place on Minkler Road in unincorporated Oswego Township.

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident. The collision occurred in the vicinity of the crossroads connecting Reservation Road and that road.

Sean Fader, a resident of Oswego, Illinois, was driving a vehicle that was heading southbound on Minkler Road when the vehicle ran off the road, hit with a tree, and caught fire. Fader was 17 years old at the time of the accident.

According to the preliminary findings of the investigation, the incident did take place. Fader, who was the only person who was inside the vehicle at the time of the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. All other passengers were outside the vehicle.

In collaboration with the Kendall County Coroner’s Office, this investigation is now being carried out and is being coordinated. During this incident, the Oswego Police Department and the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District both offered assistance to the Sheriff’s Office through their respective departments
