SE Portland Homicide – Police have identified the man shot and killed in Portland’s Buckman Neighborhood on Sunday.
Donny M. Calabaza, 45, has been named as the victim. His family has been notified of his death.
At 10:11 p.m. on August 18, Portland Police Bureau officers were sent to the intersection of Southeast Washington Street and Southeast 9th Avenue on the report of a person shot.
When police arrived, they found a male victim, now identified as Calabaza, deceased at the scene. The Medical Examiner later confirmed Calabaza died of homicide by gunshot wound.
Portland Police Homicide detectives are leading the investigation and say no arrests have been made and no suspects have been detained.
