In an accident that left two cars overturned inside a former Boston Market restaurant in Saugus, Massachusetts, on Monday night, a man was hurt. Officers were called to the scene of the crash at the recently shuttered business on Route 1 just before 7:30 p.m., according to the Saugus Police Department.
An SUV and a car were involved in the incident. Inside the SUV, according to the police, was a 62-year-old male. His injuries were not life-threatening when he was brought to Massachusetts General Hospital.
The motorist, whose identity was withheld by police, is accused of careless driving, operating a vehicle without a license, operating an unregistered vehicle, and possessing a Class A drug. When police arrived, the vehicle was unoccupied, according to the police.
Earlier, the Saugus Firefighters Local 1003 reported that there were many entrapments.
