Rose City Park Shooting – The man who was shot and killed in Northeast Portland’s Rose City Park Neighborhood Sunday night has been identified.
According to Portland police, officers responded to Northeast 55th Avenue and Hassalo Street around 11:30 p.m. where they found 30-year-old Aaron McInnis suffering from life-threatening injuries.
McInnis was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later declared dead, officials said. The Medical Examiner confirmed he died from homicide by gunshot wounds. No suspects have been arrested.
The incident is under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Portland police.

Four people were hospitalized and several businesses sustained damage after a shooting late Wednesday night on Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.
Police say multiple 911 callers reported a man beating up a woman just before shots rang out at about 11:15 p.m. on the mall near Sixth Street South.
Officers a few blocks south on the mall heard gunfire and rushed to the area, police say, discovering several bullet casings scattered on the mall between Fifth and Seventh streets. Several windows in the area were also shot out, including on a skyway above.
