Roneisha Truvillion Death: Woman killed while confronting vehicle burglars in Baton Rouge
Tragedy struck Baton Rouge Tuesday night as 29-year-old Roneisha Truvillion was shot and killed while confronting vehicle burglars. According to police, the incident occurred around 10:30 pm in the 1100 block of Spanish Town Road near North Street.
Truvillion was shot by vehicle burglars she and a family member confronted. Detectives reported that she was transported to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The property management company of Elysian Apartments, which is where the shooting took place, issued a statement on the woman’s death.

“We are deeply saddened by the death of Roneisha Truvillion and our thoughts and sympathies are with her family and friends during this difficult time. “We are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation, and any further inquiries should be directed to the Baton Rouge Police Department.”
