Rodney King Death – Rodney King has passed away suddenly. He was confirmed dead on July 9, 2024 according to reports from his family and others who were close to him.
Rodney spent the majority of his life as a welder and served with honor in the US Navy. He delighted in spending time with his loved ones and friends, becoming the “life of the party” each time.
Rodney fed the local fauna in his backyard, where he found comfort and tranquility. He read the Bible diligently and attended church frequently. At the age of 64, Pittsburgh resident Rodney M. King passed away on July 9, 2024.
In addition to being the father of David (Kelly) King, the brother of Kathleen King Todd, the stepfather of Alyssa, Nadia, and Lia, and the stepgrandfather of Adalina Bracco, Rodney spent twenty years of love companionship with Lisa Piscitelli.
The late Herman and Gloria Jean (Doyle) King, Rodney’s devoted parents, as well as his siblings, the late Thomas A. King (Christine survives), the late Patricia King Tener (late David), and the late David King, preceded him in death. Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and other friends survive Rodney.
Funeral Arrangements
On Friday, July 12, 2024, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, friends and family are welcome to the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main Street, Munhall 15120. That evening at 7:30 PM, there will be a blessing service. Lisa’s mother, Vern Piscitelli, who will be conducting the services, and Rodney share a unique bond.
On Sunday, July 14 from 2 PM to 4 PM, West Mifflin VFC #3, located at 3722 Rodeo Drive, West Mifflin, 15122, will have a funeral wake in honor of Rodney.
