Rakim Akbari Death, Orlando, FL: Law enforcement agencies in Orlando, Florida, said that the toddler who was reported missing from the resort near Walt Disney World has been found dead.

According to investigators, Rakim Akbari “Tuda” Akbari, age three, wandered away from a resort in the 8800 block of Palm Village Circle near State Road 535 and World Center Drive.

The sheriff’s office did not immediately release details on where the boy was located. Rakim Akbari was reported missing from an Orlando resort.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a post on X that the boy was found deceased on Thursday. According to investigators, Akbari died after drowning at a body of water located at the resort where he was reported missing.

“It is with heavy hearts that we must share that our deputies have found Rakim Akbari deceased in a body of water at the resort where he was reported missing this morning. Our detectives are still looking into how this tragedy occurred,” the post read. “We are grieving his loss, and our prayers are with his family.” Rakim Akbari obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family.
