Quentin Powell Obituary – Gibson Southern High School student Quentin Powell also known as “Q” has passed away. He was announced dead on May 11th, 2024. Quentin Zachariah Powell died at the tender age of 15.
There was n cause of death reported for Quentin Powell at the time of this publication. However, his family has confirmed the heartbreaking news. He was up for any kind of excitement, whether it was go-karts, parasailing, indoor skydiving, or climbing to the edge of the Garden of the Gods.
Who was Quentin Powell?
Quentin Powell was born on December 16th, 2008, in Woodbridge, Virginia. He was the only beloved child of Laura and Tiffany Gordon. Quentin affectionately known to many as “Q” was in his freshman year at Gibson Southern High School. He would have been a graduate of the 2027 class.
Quentin has had a strong desire to become a Marine since kindergarten. His favorite parts of many summer breaks were trips to the beaches in Florida and Virginia. Quentin looked like a fish. He wasn’t afraid to swim in deep water.
He also loved Harry Potter a lot and had a great time at Universal Studios. Quentin went to Disney World many times, but eating a churro by the castle seemed to bring him more magic.
On the days that Quentin wasn’t playing video games, watching videos, or watching The Walking Dead, you could find him reading a book or singing one of his many favorite songs. But Quentin also liked things that made him feel fast.
Preceded in death by
Quentin is preceded in death by his Grandpa Mark Gordon and Great-Grandparents Alva and Elizabeth Rostron and Bob and Doris Powell.
Survived by
Q is survived by his parents, Laura and Tiffany Gordon. Grandpa Randy Powell. Grandma Janet (Kenny) Buehner. Grandma Deborah Gordon, several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 12:30 PM to service time at Stodghill Funeral Home and services are at 4:30 with Pastor Andy Payton officiating, according to Quentin Powell’s obituary page.
