Pauline Brown Target Shooting; 70-year-old woman killed officer, two others injured

Bloomfield Hills Target Shooting:- On Tuesday afternoon, a routine visit to the Target store in Bloomfield Hills was transformed into a horrifying scene of violence.

Pauline Brown, a 70-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis, was attempting to park in a handicapped location when a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Chad Bosnik passed her and occupied the space. Brown became enraged and resolved to confront Bosnik and his eight-year-old sibling, Samson, after they exited the vehicle and entered the store.

Brown approached Chad as the Bosnik brothers returned to their vehicle after it had taken them two hours to complete their purchasing. She inquired as to whether he was disabled, and upon his refusal, she retrieved a 22 caliber pistol and fired two shots into his knees.

Samson shrieked and fled back into the store in search of assistance. Brown subsequently attempted to flee the scene in her 1996 minivan; however, the Bloomfield Hills police arrived just as she was exiting the parking lot.

Brown retrieved an AR-15 assault rifle from her rear seat and participated in a shootout with the officers. She struck one officer in the shoulder and killed another before surrendering when she ran out of bullets.

Brown was revealed to be wearing a bulletproof vest by the police upon her arrest. Brown expressed her frustration with white individuals when questioned about her actions, citing a recent news story about Sonya Massey as the catalyst for her fury.

She confessed, “I suppose I was simply in a foul mood.” And when I observed the officers arrive, I became concerned that they might attempt to assassinate me in the same manner as they had done to her. I was determined not to allow this to occur. I am weary of the authorities. I have been in this location for seven decades, and I am exhausted. That concludes my remarks. Brown, a former Marine with special operations training, was discovered in an unexpected revelation. At present, she is being detained without bond.
