Paul Lyford Eugene OR Death – Paul Lyford, a resident of Eugene, Oregon and a Grand Canyon University graduate passed away on July 6, 2024. He was announced dead in a social media post that reads:

Who was Paul Lyford?
To the joy of his parents Leo and Julie, Paul Francis Lyford entered the world on August 2, 1991, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene, Oregon. In 1993, he welcomed a baby brother named Michael.

The brothers were rarely seen apart in their early years of life. Throughout his nearly 33 years, Paul’s favorite location on earth was the Waldport, Oregon, Lyford reunion, where he celebrated his birthday every year.

Every year, Julie crafted a beautiful cake for him, and Paul was showered with gifts. Paul was a dedicated athlete and ardent sports lover in O’Hara and Marist Catholic schools, where he picked up knowledge quickly.

He pursued his studies at the University of Oregon, where he earned a social science degree in 2014. Paul was a passionate Duck who committed statistics to memory, attended every game he could, and amassed jerseys of his favorite players.

Paul most recently studied to become a teacher at Grand Canyon University. Paul was a member of the Saint Mary’s Sunday Choir and a former Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Jude’s. He passed away at that time.
