North Versailles Accident; Man died in crash on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Allegheny County, PA

North Versailles Accident – A fatal collision in North Versailles claimed the life of a man Wednesday evening, according to Allegheny County authorities.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Isaac Street, just outside a local Dunkin’ Donuts.

Assistant Superintendent Victor Joseph confirmed that county police were called to the scene to investigate the crash, which involved a box truck and a sedan. A WTAE news crew reported seeing police tape surrounding the accident site, with the sedan covered by a white sheet.

Preliminary investigations suggest the sedan was traveling eastbound when it veered across the center line and collided head-on with the box truck, which was traveling westbound.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his identity. The driver of the box truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
