North Riverside Mall Shooting – North Riverside Mall recently had two shooting incidents. We don’t yet know the specifics of what precipitated the shooting or why it happened.
At the North Riverside Park Mall, the North Riverside Police Department and Fire Department are presently conducting an investigation into an incident that happened this evening. We kindly advise all customers to stay away from the area while the inquiry is underway. The community is not under immediate danger.
There have been allegations of a gunshot incident at the North Riverside Mall in Illinois, and several law enforcement agencies are investigating. Two persons have been shot at least. Investigators from the police are currently on the spot.

On Friday, gunfire was heard at the North Riverside Mall located in the western suburbs. Police from North Riverside were dispatched to the east side of the mall at 3:25 p.m. due to gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers took into custody four minors, all of whom were either 15 or 16 years old. According to authorities, they have found the handgun that is thought to have been used to fire the bullets.
One of the four suspects, according to investigators, fired rounds at a passing car that fled the scene. As of late Friday, the motivation was being looked into. All day, Black Friday customers flooded malls in the Chicago region and beyond.
