Noah Reyes, 18, North Brunswick teen faces charges in fatal Route 1 accident in New Brunswick

Noah Reyes Crime – There was a deadly collision on Route 1 close to the Goodkind Bridge on March 6 and a teenager from North Brunswick has been charged with vehicular murder in connection with the incident.

According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, Noah Reyes, 18, of North Brunswick, has been charged with second-degree vehicular murder in connection with the collision that resulted in the death of Dennis Frick, who was 65 years old and lived in Freehold.

According to the findings of the investigation conducted by Officer Henry Gliottone of the New Brunswick Police Department and Detective Jim Alleva of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, Reyes was allegedly traveling southbound on Route 1 at a high rate of speed at approximately 7:08 a.m., when he crossed over the median and collided with Frick’s Ford pickup truck, which was traveling northbound on Route 1.

On April 1, Reyes was taken into custody, and he was subsequently released on pre-trial surveillance. As a prerequisite for his release, he was required to hand over both his passport and his driver’s license from the facility.

MyCentralJersey’s All-Middlesex Football Team in 2023 included Reyes, a senior at North Brunswick High School, as an honorable mention due to his outstanding performance on the football field.
