Murder Suicide Marietta GA – Courtney Dobberson Watts Obituary, Michael Allen Reno Cause of Death – The two individuals who were discovered dead inside a residence that was encircled by SWAT and where a suspect had barricaded himself late on Saturday afternoon have been named by the Marietta police department.
Courtney Dobberson-Watts, who is 35 years old, and Michael Allen Reno, who is 37 years old, were identified as the individuals by authorities.

When Reno escaped to Amy Drive NE, the police initially stated that they attempted to pull him over at approximately four o’clock in the afternoon for either driving with stolen plates or driving a stolen car on the road.
Officers stated that they attempted to entice him out of the vehicle; instead, he ran out of the automobile, entered the house, and barricaded himself inside. Reno was already parked on Amy Drive, which is where Dobberson-Watts was renting a property, according to the Marietta police department, which detailed the situation later on Saturday night.
They reported that they were able to locate him by using a license plate reader alert and that they promptly contacted the Cobb County 911 dispatch center. While they were getting closer to his vehicle, they reported that he had fled into the home and refused to come out. There is a widespread belief that Reno and Dobberson-Watts were romantically involved with one another.
Officials determined that Reno was accused of stealing around $20,000 worth of firearms and rifles as well as $18,000 in cash from his siblings while he was besieged inside the building. At least one of the guns could be seen from the exterior of the house, which was located on Amy Drive.
Authorities were able to force their way into the back of the house about 10:40 p.m., where they found two dead and a significant quantity of weaponry. They have a strong suspicion that it was a case of murder-suicide, and the investigation is being conducted as a homicide.
