Miguel Zamudio Obituary: According to Captain Robert Buursma of the Holland Department of Public Safety, a man from Holland was shot in the head on Saturday afternoon.
According to Buursma, the incident occurred on West 19th Street in the 300 block. As per the authorities, the perpetrator, a 27-year-old male from Holland, approached the victim and discharged a firearm, causing injury.
The 41-year-old individual was transported to a medical facility in Holland and subsequently moved to a hospital in Grand Rapids. According to the authorities, his most recent status was serious.
The authorities have confirmed that the suspect has been apprehended and is currently under their control.
The suspect informed the police about a potential explosive device in the residence. Although Buursma expressed skepticism, the authorities took all necessary measures to ensure safety.
An evacuation was ordered for all individuals living near the house and within a 500-foot buffer zone.
The ATF was summoned to the location to ascertain the presence of an explosive device within the premises, and it was verified that no such device was there. The majority of residents are currently permitted to return to their residences.
