Matthew Theophilus’ Death, Family Tribute to ‘Devoted Dad’ After Crash Death
Tributes have been paid to a “devoted dad” who has died following a three-vehicle crash.
Matthew Theophilus, 35, from the Caerphilly area, was taken to hospital but died from his injuries following the crash at Trehafod, Rhondda Cynon Taf, on Sunday 3 December at about 22:00 GMT.
“He was a man who was full of life and love for his family,” said his family in a tribute issued by South Wales Police.
“He was a devoted dad to his three-year-old daughter Shaya who was his princess.”
They said his “sudden passing… in such devastating circumstances will leave an emptiness that will never be filled”.
“Our memories of Matthew will last a lifetime,” they said, adding he “will live on in his precious daughter”.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash on the A4058 which involved a white BMW, blue Vauxhall Zafira and white Hyundai.
