Eager to further his expertise, Matt enrolled at Emory University, one of the nation’s leading research universities. In 2001, he graduated with honors, obtaining a Master of Medical Science Degree. This accomplishment was a testament to his hard work and dedication.
Following his graduation, Matt initially ventured into orthopedic surgery, where he honed his skills and developed a profound understanding of the musculoskeletal system. However, his journey did not end there. In 2003, he made the decision to return to East Tennessee, a region he had grown fond of during his educational pursuits.
