Mackenzie Corbin South Salem OH Death, Wilmington College student has died

Mackenzie Corbin South Salem OH Death – Mackenzie Corbin, a resident of South Salem, Ohio, and a sophomore at Wilmington College Academic Farm in Wilmington has passed away.

She was announced dead in social media statement by the school president that read “Dear Members of the Wilmington College Community, I have some profoundly sad news to share with our campus community. One of our students, sophomore Mackenzie Corbin, passed away overnight.”

Who was Mackenzie Corbin?
Mackenzie Corbin, who was from South Salem, Ohio, was a member of the Sigma Alpha sorority and was pursuing a degree in Agricultural business at the Wilmington College Academic Farm.

During her time at First Presbyterian Church, she volunteered her time. Her major at Wilmington College was Agriculture Education and Business, and she was a first-year student there. Mackenzie has a dream of one day working in an agricultural-related business and teaching in a school setting.

Her childhood was spent on a tiny family farm that raised livestock. She participated in their FFA program to a significant degree throughout her time in high school.

She also worked at McDonald’s, where she gained experience in dealing with money and gained knowledge about the customer experience. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, student, and a loving classmate. She went to McClain High School and was in a relationship with Jacob Taylor.

Professional counselors available
Classes for Monday, August 19, are canceled and professional counselors from the Counseling Center will be available today through 8 p.m. and on Monday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The schedule is below. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by anytime.

Canby Jones Meetinghouse — for Sigma Alpha sorority members through 8 p.m. McCoy Room of Kelly Center, Thomas Lounge in Pyle Center and Rooms 148 and 149 in the Center for the Sciences and Agriculture – for all campus community members. Canby Jones Meetinghouse, McCoy Room, Thomas Lounge, and CSA 148 and 149 – for all members of the campus community Beginning Tuesday, students may make appointments with the Counseling Center.
