Leah Fagan, a resident of Dublin, Ireland, and a beloved member and recent fit4life graduate has passed away. He was announced dead through a social media publication that reads:
“Heartbreaking news Leah Fagan you wore a lovely girl inside and out. I’ll cherish all the good memories we had in school. I’m in shock, look over your gorgeous little girl and your family in this hard time rip beautiful.”
Who was Leah Fagan?
In addition to working for the Ballymun East Community Centre, Leah Fagan was a resident of Dublin, which is located in southern Ireland.
When Leah first began her adventure as a runner, she was participating in the FIT4LIFE program, where she had established a strong group of friends inside the club. Additionally, she had just recently competed in and won the woman’s mini marathon.
Last but not least, she intended to finish her first half marathon later on in this year. She was a doting mother to her beautiful daughter, who was her only child.
Leah Fagan was a person who was truly one of a kind and possessed a level of love that was unparalleled in the world. She was appreciated and loved by her siblings, including her brother, sisters, and parents. Her daughter was at the center of her universe, and she treasured and loved her.
Ballymun Athletics Club Statement
Dear members and community. It is with a heavy heart and we are so sorry to inform you of the sudden passing of our beloved member and recent fit4life graduate, Leah Fagan. The whole club is heartbroken and in light of this tragic loss, all club sessions have been cancelled this week as a mark of respect. The clubhouse will be open on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6pm for tea and coffee providing a safe space for anyone impacted by Leah’s passing to come together for support. We encourage you to join us in honoring Leah’s memory during this difficult time.
Leah had recently started her running journey in the FIT4LIFE program where she made a solid circle of friends in the club. She had also recently conquered the woman’s mini marathon. She had planned to complete her first half marathon later this year we are truly devastated. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
