Larry Dingee Death – Larry Dingee, esteemed proprietor of Dingee Machine and valued Sutphen dealer, passed away suddenly last week.
Larry’s expertise and dedication made him a pillar of the Sutphen dealer network and the fire service community in New England. Larry founded Dingee Machine in 1979, earning a stellar reputation throughout the Northeast. His machines were renowned for their craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering customer commitment.
In 2011, Larry expanded his influence by becoming a Sutphen dealer, significantly contributing to the company’s growth in Northern New England. His legacy will endure through his industry connections, loyal clientele, and steadfast family-owned business practices.
Funeral and Visitation
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Dale (Lawrence), his son Shane Smith and partner Christina Annas, his daughters Ashley Cunningham and husband Richard, Kelsey O’Connor and husband Zachary, and five grandchildren: Landon, Maisie, Jacob, Logan, and Julius.
He is also survived by his brother Robert (Felicia Green), sister Linda JD Crossman (Rick Lamberson), several nieces and nephews, including Robert and William Crossman, and many in-laws.
Larry was cherished by many and held dear by his family. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Stringer Funeral Home, located at 146 Broad Street in Claremont. A burial will take place on Friday, July 19, at 11:00 a.m. in Edminster Cemetery, Cornish. A reception will follow at Cornish Town Hall, 294 Town House Road.
