Lakeville Shooting Investigations: Around 10 AM, numerous law enforcement were dispatched to an active police incident in the area of Bracketts’s Crossing Country Club.
According to law enforcement agencies, a shelter-in-place was issued for residents in the area. Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for a suspect who is described as armed and should be considered dangerous.
Lakeville PD: We are working through an active incident in the area of Brackett’s Crossing CC. A shelter-in-place notification has been sent out for people in the area to remain inside their homes while we search the area for a subject.
We will release more info as it becomes available. This active incident stems from a domestic situation in a vehicle where a male subject fled on foot.

ASU Shooting Chaos: A fight on the Alabama State University campus prompted a large police presence on Wednesday.
ASU spokesperson Kenneth Mullinax reported that the fistfight involved students from Pearl High School, an alternative school. The external group had rented the Acadome for a graduation ceremony.
Mullinax confirmed that no shots were fired and no ASU students were involved in the incident. For the safety of students and staff, school officials decided to shut down the campus. There is no information yet on whether any arrests were made.
