Kevin Parsons Newfoundland and Labrador Death:- Kevin Parsons, Jr. MHA, a respected Canadian politician from Newfoundland and Labrador, has passed away.

His death was announced today, Thursday, August 15, 2024. According to reports, Kevin Parsons died unexpectedly, though the cause of death has not been disclosed.

Today, my thoughts are with the family and friends of Kevin Parsons, a man admired and respected by all who had the privilege of knowing or working with him, myself included.

During his tenure as MHA for Cape St. Francis from 2008 to 2021, Kevin’s kindness, compassion, and deep care for the province were evident to all. On behalf of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family.

Kevin Parsons was a dedicated public servant, known for his hard work as a volunteer, Council member, and MHA for the Cape St. Francis district. He made a lasting impact on the Northeast Avalon region and was widely respected for his commitment to public service.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Kevin was deeply devoted to those he served and was a prominent figure in the local sports community. He retired from politics in 2021 to spend more time with his beloved family.

When he announced his retirement, tributes poured in from across the political spectrum, reflecting the widespread admiration and respect he earned throughout his career. Kevin Parsons served as the Caucus Chair for the Progressive Conservative Party and represented Cape St. Francis in the Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly since 2008. Before his provincial political career, he was the Mayor of Flatrock.
