Kevin Frazier’s Death, Fawn Grove Resident Died From Blunt Force Trauma in Collision Involving Motorcycle & Teenager’s Vehicle

A fatal accident on December 13, 2023, claimed the life of a 64-year-old Fawn Grove resident, identified as Kevin Frazier, who succumbed to blunt force trauma resulting from the crash.

At approximately 3:04 p.m. that day, Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner was called to the scene for investigation and death certification. Frazier, riding a 2022 Ducati Monster motorcycle and wearing a helmet, collided with the rear of a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old boy in the first block of West Main Street/Route 851, allegedly due to excessive speed and tailgating, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP).

Despite the teenage driver wearing a seatbelt and escaping unharmed, the collision occurred in an area with a posted speed limit of 35 MPH. Although Frazier’s exact speed remains undisclosed, PSP highlighted that had he survived, he might have faced a citation for unsafe driving speed.

As of 6:30 p.m., Main Street remained closed between Market Street and Kennard-Dale High School. While no autopsy is scheduled, a routine toxicology test has been performed, confirmed Coroner Pam Gay, attributing the official cause of Frazier’s accidental death to blunt force trauma.

Details regarding Kevin Frazier’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be communicated by the family at a later date. Fawn Grove, a borough in York County, Pennsylvania, with a population of 476 according to the 2020 census, is part of the South Eastern School District offering public education services.

In the wake of this tragic incident, we extend our deepest condolences to the families affected by this heart-wrenching loss.
