He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that reads “With devistaing news, a disney coworker has passed. Confirming with a few friends who still work at the Disneyland Resort, it has been fully confirmed that my good friend Kendric Brewer has departed from the living world.”
Born and raised in Los Molinos, Kendric graduated from Los Molinos High School in 2010, setting the stage for a bright future. His academic journey continued at California State University, Chico, where he majored in Public Administration. Graduating in 2014, he equipped himself with the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to his community.
His career began in retail, where he worked as a Sales Associate at Quiksilver in Anaheim from September 2015 to June 2016. This role not only honed his customer service skills but also deepened his understanding of the retail landscape in a vibrant tourist destination.
Before Quiksilver, he showcased his versatility at Buckle in Redding, California, from November 2013 to March 2015. There, he collaborated with a diverse team, learning the ins and outs of retail management.
In addition to retail, Kendric ventured into the food and beverage industry. He served as a bartender at Lassen Steak House in Vina from March 2014 to September 2014, where he further developed his communication skills and learned the art of mixology. Later, he worked as a server at Applebee’s Grill + Bar, providing him with invaluable experience in high-pressure dining environments.
His leadership abilities came to the forefront during his tenure as a Supervisor at Desert Palms Hotel and Suites from May 2016 to March 2019. In this role, he managed staff and ensured guest satisfaction, embodying the principles of public administration he had studied.
Kendric’s passion for entertainment and customer engagement ultimately led him to Disneyland, a place known for its magical experiences. He took on several roles, including Stage Manager at Tomorrowland and Guest Relations Host, where he was instrumental in creating unforgettable moments for visitors. As a Barista and Working Lead at Disneyland, he combined his service expertise with his love for the arts, helping to enhance the Disneyland experience for guests.
