According to reports, Engine 43 firefighter Ka’ron Montgomery passed away unexpectedly. He was pronounced dead while off duty over the weekend, on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Philadelphia Fire Department released the following statement:
“It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Engine 43 Firefighter Ka’ron Montgomery, who passed away while off duty over the weekend.
Staff at Fire HQ paid their respects today as a small procession made its way to the funeral home. Please keep Firefighter Montgomery’s family, friends, and colleagues in your thoughts during this difficult time.”
