Joseph Penn Obituary – An accident involving a single car occurred in the vicinity of Vernon Avenue and Brookwood Drive in Normal on Monday, April 8, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m., and officers from the Normal Police Department arrived to the scene.
At the outset, it was reported that a single vehicle, a motorcycle, had lost control and collided with a guard rail in close proximity to the roadway. The victim was named as Joseph K. Penn, who was a resident of Normal, Illinois, according to the authorities.

Officers from the New York Police Department responded at the scene in a short amount of time and identified the driver of the motorcycle, who appeared to have suffered significant injuries.
Additionally, the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Normal Fire Department arrived to provide assistance to the victims. Germantown Hills crash in March
A collision between a car and a tree that occurred on Route 116 in Germantown Hills on Thursday evening resulted in the deaths of two people. According to the Woodford County Coroner, the deceased who was declared dead at the scene was identified as Brian Brunson, who was 37 years old and from East Peoria.
The individual who was driving, Thomas Woods Jr., was taken to the OSF St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. According to the Woodford County Coroner, there was no further information regarding his condition. The Peoria County Coroner reports that Wood, 33, was unresponsive when he arrived at OSF.
He did not have a pulse and was not breathing. The time that he was declared deceased was 7:38 p.m. Thursday evening at approximately 7:24 p.m., a Chevrolet Camaro went off the road and collided with a tree.
One vehicle was the only one involved in the accident. The Woodford County Sheriff’s Department and the coroner are continuing their investigation into the incident after it occurred. The results of the toxicological tests and the autopsy are still pending.
