Joseph Durham of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and a proud USMC veteran has sadly passed away. He was announced dead in a social media publication that reads:
“I keep rewriting this over and over again and really trying to come to terms that we have LOST OUR JOEY, my brother, my first best friend. Unfortunately Joe has passed away last night. This loss is definitely gonna hurt a lot of us.”
Who was Joseph Durham?
Joseph Durham was a native of Barnstable, Massachusetts, and an alumnus of Barnstable High School. He graduated from Cape Cod Community College and was a former Proprietor at Beechwood Inn.
He was a loving brother to his sister Britney and cousin Angie Miranda. If you knew him, you know that amazing smile, that charming personality, the one that always kept life interesting.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a genuinely kind man that would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone. Joey was the beloved son to Laddie Durham and Fred Durham.
Laddie co-owned Harry’s Cajun Restaurant in Hyannis with Fred, and ran the blues bar with the help of Joey, a bartender and door attendant, and Britney, a bartender.
Joseph Durham obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date. Feel free to leave a message of condolences and prayers for the family and friends of the deceased in the comments section as it will go a long way for them during this difficult time.
