The Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD) responded promptly to the reported shooting at 1011 South Sunset Drive and discovered the victim deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

At approximately 12:06 a.m., WSPD officers were dispatched to a shooting reported at John Ingram’s home on South Sunset Drive. Upon arrival, the officers found Mr. Ingram unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts to secure the scene and provide aid, Mr. Ingram was pronounced dead.
