On Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024, Joel Wallace, a much-loved member of our community, passed away as a result of injuries sustained in a tractor accident.
The unexpected and untimely passing of Joel has left those who knew him in a state of profound grief. He was a cherished husband, father, friend, and neighbor, and his presence will be sorely missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him. His passing will be deeply mourned.
Joel was well-known for his tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and unwavering readiness to assist anyone who was in need without hesitation. Because he was such a dependable member of our community, the vacuum that his passing has created is one that can never be filled.

Relatives and friends will be received at the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock, on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held in the East Zorra Mennonite Church, 16th Line, on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Harold Schlegel will officiate, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
