“The apartment unit was located in which the welfare check was conducted.” At the time of their arrival, the authorities discovered a male adult, who was believed to be in his early 50s, and a female victim who was unresponsive due to her apparent gunshot wounds.

The family of the woman filed a report with the police in Shenandoah over the woman’s disappearance, which ultimately led the investigators to the residence of the husband.
According to Gonzalez, the investigation resulted in a request for assistance at approximately ten or eleven o’clock on Tuesday morning in an effort to identify the woman. Following the arrival of the authorities at the scene, Gonzalez stated that the woman could not be found.

After some time had passed, a friend of the adult man arrived to the apartment, started looking around a little bit more, was able to acquire a key, and then entered the apartment, which is when the discovery was made.
In spite of the fact that the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown, Gonzalez stated that first observations indicated that the male shot the woman and then turned the gun on himself.
According to Gonzalez, it seemed as though the two adults had been present for a couple of days at the very least. The officials also mentioned that there was a possibility that the pair had a history of domestic abuse against one another.
According to the officials, there was no other person present in the apartment at the time of the occurrence. There is a mutual belief that the couple has at least one child who is an adult between them.
