Jeremy Pei Death, Famous Singaporean Magician and Redefine Magic Managing Director has died

Jeremy Pei Death – Jeremy Pei, a well-known magician from Singapore who also served as the managing director of Redefine Magic, passed away.

His death occurred on the 18th of August, 2024 leaving those that knew him devastated At the time this report was made, the actual cause of Jeremy Pei’s death has not been made known.

Jeremy accomplished a great milestone while he was just 14 years old, which would pave the way for a brilliant career in magic throughout his entire life. An honor that marked the beginning of his remarkable path in the world of magic, he became the youngest Singaporean magician to win an International Magic Competition held in Perth, Western Australia.

This competition was held in Western Australia. In the beginning, his accomplishments were nothing more than a precursor to what would later become an exceptional career that was marked by a multitude of honors and recognition on a global scale.

The brilliance of Jeremy was instantly recognized, as evidenced by the fact that he was awarded the title of “Magician of the Year” by The Singapore Association of Magicians three times, representing a record that has not been surpassed.

His mastery in the art of magic was further demonstrated by the fact that he won first place at the 2005 IF Magic International Close-Up Magic Competition and was honored with the coveted JCMA Award from the Japanese Close-Up Magicians Association, in addition to receiving a multitude of other awards.

In 2009, Jeremy created history by becoming the first magician from Singapore to compete in the World Championships of Magic, also known as “FISM” (the Olympics of the Magic World), which were held in Beijing, China.

This was a significant accomplishment for Singaporean magic, as it was the first time that Singaporean magicians did so. As a result of his participation in this illustrious event, his career reached a key milestone, which elevated his prominence on the international stage.

The next year, in July of 2010, Jeremy continued to shine at the International Brotherhood of Magicians Annual Convention, which was held in San Diego. He demonstrated his versatility and skill by winning both the Finalist Awards in the Close-Up Magic Competition as well as the Stage Magic Competition. As a result of his outstanding performance, he was awarded the second prize in the International Stage Magic Competition. This competition was held against thirty-three of the best magicians from other countries.

The performances that Jeremy has given have led him to a number of different continents, including South-East Asia, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. His world tours include major appearances at the legendary Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, where his performances captivated audiences and further reinforced his name in the magic field. His tours have taken him all over the world.

Additionally, Jeremy has been a significant contributor to the development of the magic community, in addition to his work as a performer. It was in 2008 and 2009 that he successfully held two Magic Conventions, both of which were titled “Redefine Magic – The Gathering.” These conventions were well received by magic aficionados from all over the world, including those from the local community.

He was well-known for his contributions to the field of magic items, including the creation of novel props and masterpieces of Grand Illusion. His talent extends to teaching, as he is a highly regarded Magic Lecturer who has imparted his knowledge to magicians in a variety of countries, including England, China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Macau, and Singapore.
