Jensen Beach High School Stabbing Investigation: Junior Varsity football player Stabbed by another student following fight after practice game
Just after 6:30 p.m. tonight, (Monday, September 9) Martin County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to assist Stuart Police with a stabbing incident following a fight on the football field at Jensen Beach High School.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a 14-year-old Junior Varsity football player had been slashed in the abdomen by another 14-year-old JV football player after a practice game. Although the wound is non-life-threatening, the victim was transported to the hospital.
The suspect, who used a razor blade in the incident, was immediately detained and arrested. The scene has been secured, and the suspect has been transported to the Martin County Jail to be booked and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. He will be transferred to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Detention facility.

According to a post made by MCSO, the incident happened just after 6:30 p.m. on the football field of Jensen Beach High School.
