Jeffrey Ludlow’s Death, Ongoing Investigations After 32-Year-Old Died in Fatal Richmond Shooting on Irvington Street

The Richmond Police Department has disclosed the identity of the deceased individual discovered following a shooting incident on Irvington Street in the Southside region of the city.

Confirmed by authorities, the victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jeffrey Ludlow, a resident from the Woodbridge area located in Prince William County.

Responding to a report of a gunshot victim around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 13, law enforcement officers arrived at an apartment within the 3400 block of Irvington Street. Upon arrival, they encountered Ludlow, found incapacitated and unresponsive on the front porch.

Ludlow, bearing an evident gunshot wound, was pronounced deceased at the scene. While a man was apprehended at the location, police clarified that he has not been charged in connection with the shooting. Furthermore, law enforcement officials are not actively pursuing additional suspects at present.
