Jeff Kale Obituary – The Coast Guard ceased the search for a boater who was reported missing on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. in the vicinity of the North Carolina coastline.

Jeffrey Kale, 47, from Clover, South Carolina, has been found dead. Rescue teams conducted aerial and maritime searches for over 100 hours since the initial report.

They covered an area of roughly 11,690 square miles, which is larger than the size of Maryland. Following the discovery of Kale’s unoccupied boat on Tuesday morning, the Coast Guard recommenced their search for Kale. He was reported as missing on Saturday at around 10:30 p.m.

“Cmdr. Corrie Sergent, deputy commander of Sector North Carolina, expressed our genuine sympathies to the Kale family in this challenging period,” stated. The commitment to saving lives at sea motivates our rescue teams to undergo daily training and operations, with the ultimate goal of safely returning people home.

Consequently, the choice to discontinue a search is an exceptionally difficult one for our troops, and it is not made without careful consideration. We express our gratitude to the many Navy resources, commercial aid, and numerous altruistic individuals who have also contributed to the search.

Everyone who knew Jeff saw firsthand that he was a hard worker and sole provider for his family. This leaves Deanna facing the seemingly insurmountable responsibility of making ends meet as she immediately assumes her role as head of household, and wants to provide stability for her boys.

Unfortunately, during a time when a family facing such a tragedy should focus on grieving, bills come due and creditors still require payment. Please find it in your heart to give to this family.

Any amount is appreciated! Prayers are also welcome and requested, as they are going to need all they can get in order to now navigate their lives without Jeff, their devoted husband and dad. They loved him so hard, and he them.
