Who was James Whitson?
James Whitson graduated from Newcastle University in 1995, and worked in Edinburgh for Chiene and Tait for two years after graduation. He then changed track and began his property career in 1997 in London, doing acquisitions and property search.
He joined Rettie in 2001, on his return to Scotland. He is now Director of Sales with responsibility for the Edinburgh Team, and is focused on growing and expanding market share within the City.
He brings a wealth of experience to each property transaction he deals with and has a large client base across the city. He was a Graduate Trainee at Chiene and TaitChiene and Tait from 1995 to 1997 and was a Researcher at Tyzack and Partners from 1997 to 1998.
James worked as a director at Whitsend from 1998 to 2001 and a Director of Residential sales at Retttie and Co where he had a direct responsibility for the Edinburgh and Lothians sales teams.
